1989 GTU Body For Sale???
I have a 89 GTU white body that I might be putting up for sale.
It has the newer style bumpers and side moldings.
It has an Ohio salvage title from a previous owner where there was a interior wiring fire.
I have replaced all the bad wiring with an 87 TII wiring harness and also took out the electric seatbelts and converted them to regular ones.
The car is very straight with a few dings here and there is no motor or transmssion. Interior is black without seats. I do have a pair of faded black seats from a 88 GXL that I can let go with it. The car also does not have the newer style taillights but has a pair of regular 88 lights painted white like the AI version.(looks better IMO) It also has the newer style areo mirrors on it.
It has the rear sport spoilers on the rockerpanels in front of the rear tires. Rims and tires are the regular bologna slicer GXL type.
If interested, please email or PM me with offers.
This would be a great canidate for a V8 or other conversion.(which was what I was going to do with it but since aquired another car to work on).:yeah:
Here are a few pics of the car.
Thanks!
