1989 FC3S turbo query

Hey everyone, this is my first post so please do not bag on me too much.

I have a query regarding the stock turbo for an 89 FC3S. I bought my car Feb 07 as a part project and am getting through the list of items that needed finishing/fixing. The car is a Japanese import into Australia and i want to know what the stock turbo is for these to see if it has been modded. When i got the car it had a retuned Jap computer and crazy high boost which ran real well. I took it to get a service and was sliftly told that the motor would not run for long at this boost and the cheap manual boost controller was removed. I then put in a stock computer due to misfiring of the retuned computer and have now started to play with higher boosts (it was always going to happen!!).

So basically i want to know whether the turbo i have in the car is a standard one or not.

Any photos or specs would be appreciated.

Cheers guys!

can you post some pics of your turbo that would give us a good idea of what you got ...and a way to compare it to a stock unit

If it has the stock compressor housing it should say HT18S-2S on it... if it still says that than you probably have a small hybrid turbo.
