1989 13b stock HELP
Hey this is my first encounter with a 13b rotory engine .. i did an engine and transmission swap from one body to another both are 89 rx7's only the body i put the engine in is a convertible and my old one was a coupe ... i marked mostly everything and am almost postitive that everything is hooked up correctly besides one hose that i can not remember where to hook up at .. it is circled in the attached photos ... it will start after several tries and pumping the gas rapidly .. but it wont idle on its own and when i rev it up to about 3000 rpms it sounds like abnormal sparking internally in the engine .. i did not disassemble the engine at all just swaped it out .. please help me on the location of where these hook up.. thank you in advanced

The pictures are tiny and unclear, but it looks like you circled the cold start assist unit. It's supposed to be removed according to Mazda, so having it disconnected won't change a thing.
Were the manifolds removed during the swap? How about anything else that makes a seal in the intake tract? Your problem sounds like a large vacuum leak. I had a similar one when my upper intake manifold wasn't sealing properly against the lower intake manifold. If you removed part of the intake manifold & reused old gaskets, it sure to leak.
