1988 rx-7 build up Q's

I recently recieved a 88 7 from my grandma.... for free. It's been sitting for over a year and she wants it out of her way. The brakes need to be fixed but they said they have the parts but never got around to it. So, being new to the rotary scene I am going to require a little help from yall to get throught this build up. I have some mechanical knowledge and know my way around a car pretty well so I am not a noob. I already have started a list but I would greatly appreiciate it if you could add to it.

1) drain fuel and replace fuel filter
2) change oil
3) change brake fluid
4) new brake pads
5) new spark plugs
6) new spark plug wires

Once I have it running good here is a list of stuff I plan on getting for my new baby.

Fluidyne Radiator for 88 - 91 RX-7
HKS Intake kit for the 86-88 RX-7
HKS Downpipe for 87-91 RX-7
Apexi N1 Dual 86-91 RX-7
AEM CDI Ignition
Racingbeat Strut Bar 87-92 RX-7
Walbro High Flow fuel pump 86-88 RX-7

I'm sure I'll find more stuff.
Did I pick good stuff?

It also needs to be repainted and reuhpolstered (sp?) I am undecided on the color so far. I'm thinking a nice dark blue or mabey just plain white.

Thanks in advance!

hey man focus on getting it running and running good before you spend money on mods... also do a compression test to make sure the motor is not on its way out

Save your $ you dont need a race radiator till you get a FMIC

Exhaust DP and cat replacement pipe + hp
remove ACV,air pump & split air pipe
Port wastegate
Intake filter
FCD or better yet Digitaltuning.com Rtek7™ ECU Upgrade
Aftermarket race seats are lighter
Boost controller
SAFC
720 secondaries

Now you will have problems hooking up your tires.

FD wheels -16 x 8 16lbs
RSR springs
new struts

You can get alot of your parts out of the classified section
