ON 1988 Heater problems

Picked up my car just before the winter, e test went good after sitting for 2 years suprising. Now i had a friend working on my car at his shop trying to get my heater working. He's tested the resistor and relay under the glove box all the fuses in the panel and the resistor in the front, all working. The pipe under my dash by my radio coming from the heater core i beleive, IS heated. The blower motor when hooked to an external source of power ran so well i almost dropped it. The only thing i seem to notice is when i turn the fan to max on the logicon the resistor starts buzzing like a beep almost. on the logicon the vents move when pressed from floor to defrost anything like that and the a/c seems to turn on when i use that. But I still have no heat or even air from the blower when hooked up to the car. Can anyone help me so i can stop freezing my *** off in canada for this winter lol
