well if the shock is blown i suppose that is as good of a spot to start as any.

Agreed. No other symptoms have come up and that's the only place I can see is needing repair.

But knowing my luck I'll be right back here after I swap them out....still trying to solve this..:-)

should work but i tend to trust kyb more than a i would a monroe. kyb is the oem manufacturer for our original struts after all.

but for their price you could step up to KYB AGX for a little more. (or less in fact, since i just found a new pair for $200 shipped on fleabay)
