1987 Turbo II Idle Problems

Ok so when I start my car, sometimes it revs to 3 grand for about 5 or 6 seconds, then it will drop down and die. It also has a rough idle, could this problem be because of a vacuum leak?

most likely a vacuum leak or your throttle sensor needs to be adjusted.
