1987 RX-7 A/C pressure specs?
I'm sure it is here somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I have a 1988 RX-7 factory manual I purchased new from Mazda in the 1990's, but I can't find any A/C specs. For that matter there is almost no mention of A/C in the manual that I can find.
Does anyone know the pressure specs for R-12, R-134a, or R-152a?
TIA

give this a shot. There shouldn't be a whole lot of difference between the years. I converted mine over to the r152 stuff and think it's pretty great. R152 runs at different pressures than R12 and R134. These old systems have sight glasses on the driers to show you when you have it full enough. Still use a guage set to make sure you aren't putting a ridiculous amount in. R152 has closer operating pressures to R12 than R134, so it will provide results closer to what the system was designed for. It also is compatible with the R134 PAG oils.

There is nothing in my 1988 factory manual. Mazda must have added A/C to the manual in 1989. Strange.
