180km/h speed cut

My car is a jap import, which has 180km/h speed cut . Does anyone know how to build a circuit to get rid of this speed cut?

Remove the instrument cluster and inspect the printed circuit board on the back. You'll see a small screw with "180" printed next to it. Remove the screw and the speed limiter is disabled!

Yeah this will work, but try this one on for size: the cruise controls also have their own 180kph governor (the car wont cruise above 180kph). Even if you remove the top speed governor, the cruise wont engage above 180kph and will drop to 180kph. Just found out myself this weekend (I also found out that my top speed right now is just below 240kph )

Anyone knows how to disable the governor on the cruise controls ?

Well you're lucky. My CC won't hold a speed higher than 112km/h! Almost defeats the purpose. Anyone know why?
