17s & 1.5 drop on a FC VERT

So i have 17 inch rims, and i am thinking of getting those racing beat springs which lower the vert by 1.5inch.

is there enough clearance?

Yes. If your offset is right on the wheels they should tuck in.

17 inch wheels are usually smaller in diameter than 15s and 16s anyway so you may want to drop it more than 1.5 inches unless you are putting 45 or 50 series tires on them.

it totally depends on tire width, wheel offset and camber settings...

you can fit 235 up front and 255 out back with no rubbing using those springs with the right offset wheels, like +30 front and +35 rear. if you roll the fender lips you can fit even wider tires but may want to start using a lower offset like a +25 up front to clear the strut, or use a 17x9 +15 if you get wider front fenders. you can fit a 275 out back on a +35 if you roll the lip just a little bit.

TMI maybe?
good luck.

Also keep in mind that 1.5" drop springs may not drop your car by a full 1.5" because your stock springs may have sagged over the years. Either way, the difference in handling should make the RB springs worth it.
