150,000 miles how much longer?

150,000 miles how much longer?

i just bought my 86 rx7 13b n/a and it says it has 150,000 miles on it.. but the speedomiter gauge wont work... on the Tack and it said there was about 6000 milles on the trip so 156,000 miles i know are on it for sure... but how many miles can a rotary last up to? and how do i fix the dam speedomiter????

From: NY, MA, MI, OR, TX, and now LA or AZ!
The spedo is cable driven. Either replace the cable/gauge itself, or the gear in the tranny. Tach is driven by the trailing coil.

i have 193k on my 89 GXL, i've had it 4 months, driven it every day, and never has failed to start or run properly for me...

it really depends on how the car has been taken care of tho

could go tomorrow, could last another 75,000 miles. your at that stage in the cars life where the whole thing could explode any moment
