13bt or 13btt in a starion/conquest help!!!

Ok i could not figure out what section to put this in so mods feel free to move. i currently have a chrysler conquest that comes with the 2.6liter turbo. Ive already had enough of this motor and was looking to do a swap. I would love to actually throw in a 13bt or 13btt swap. Does anyone know anyone that has done this swap in a starion or conquest? I know that the 13brett mounts sit in the back of the engine and the 13bt sits in the middle. There is a write up to use the rx7 tranny with the 4g63 swap. The only thing i can find with searching everywhere is cars that where for sale many years ago that the link is not valid for now. Thanks for your help!

the 13B-REW(twin turbo) would be the obvious best choice for a swap assuming it will fit. the mounts for both engines would have to be custom anyways. the REW engine is more reliable for upgrades down the road(as well makes about 50 more horsepower right out of the box). the REW will also obviously be the more costly alternative, if you can afford it.

there is no specific type of engine you will find the most of but the RE and 20B are the least likely to be sitting on a shelf.

mostly you will find S4/5 TII and REW's waiting for a new owner.

Album 1 « Gallery 19 « » The Starion & Conquest Hybrids. We have variety. 26liter.us – The Starion & Conquest Owners Resource. G54B Turbo Power.

from the looks of it the TT should fit but it is going to be tight. that one is a 13BT out of an FC.

yea ive found a rew with compression numbers for 1849.00 complete. I do plan on yanking emmisions and etc so it should save me some space. My engine bay usually houses v8s with little effort so im sure the rew will drop right in. I just hope when i do the custom mounts that it doesn't place the tranny up to far. Thanks man
