13brew set-up

I have an N/A s5, and have access to a cheap USDM rew. I was wondering if I could just swap the front cover and oil pan so I could clear evrything and use stock engine mounts. or... did i need a center iron as well?
Also is running a stock FD ecu possible? Dont worry about drive train and fuel pump, I got that down.

Thanks, and any aditional info would be great.

Motor mounts are different on a REW. They are located on the rear housing. Check this page:

http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/FD3S/rew.html

"If you're going to run a stock FD3S stock ECU, you'll need the engine harness, ignition system harness, ignitor, and all coils from the FD3S, minimally. Going to aftermarket EMS fuel and ignition control gives you more flexibility but may require additional ignition components. Choosing a Haltech EMS for control will allow you to use the stock 13B-REW ignition input (trigger wheel and magnetic pick-ups) and the stock FC3S coils/ignitors! "

Fast, reliable, or cheap. Pick two.

Good luck.

Wow. thanks for the quick reply. Is there any way to use the stock ignitors/coil?
