13b 6 ports Drang turbo car

Greetings to the entire community, it's been a while since I last wrote. I have a question. I'm thinking about building a drag racing car with a 13b NA S4 engine, but I want to turbocharge it, with all the possible mods: RA Apex, Doweling, Studing, Big Turbo, Semi-Peripheral, etc. Microtech ECU
Can this engine handle 600 whp or more with full methanol?

For those power levels you would be probably better off to use the lower compression turbo rotors. The TII block is a better base to start with. It has better port timing even after porting. If I understand correctly the 6 ports 5th &6th ports close to late and it affects power delivery even when turbocharged. For 600whp I think the 13B-REW is a better base to start with. Better flow from the intake into the ports and better base porting before you streetport. Hardened stationary gears from the factory(IIRC it wasn't until the S5 that the n/a got hardened gears) and better oil system to the bearings from the factory that you would need to upgrade on the S4. IIRC the REW has 3 window bearings for the E-shaft from the factory. You'll need to upgrade to the 3 window race ones or use the modified Rx-8 rear stationary gear that also has a 3 window bearing and is hardened on your S4. Since you'll have to have a custom intake anyway for the semi-peripheral most companies that make them offer one for the 13B-REW. Also it is still available new from Mazda. Most S4 parts are NLA so when you break things getting to 600rwhp new replacements for a 13B-REW will be easier to come by rather than scouring the internet for old used S4 parts. Biggest hurdle with The REW is it doesn't bolt right into an FC, but there are options out there to make it happen.

Thank you very much for your response. I really appreciate you taking the time
Let me explain: I have three NA S4 engines. I can play with them for a while. I also have 3mm REW rotors. What I don't have here in my country is someone who can balance that set.
I could build a 13B REW, but I'm missing parts. Since I have those engines, I'd rather test them.

You're welcome. I wondered if it was a case of S4 being what you had a lot of parts for. On the bright side going by this chart Rotor Weight and Compression Chart - Mazdatrix the the S4 n/a rotors are 9.4 compression ratio. vs 9.0 for the S5 turbo and REW. A good middle ground between the 8.5 of the S4 turbo and the 9.7 of the S5 n/a. Still won't have as much cushion between a good safe tune and a blown engine but doable. Seems most turbocharged n/a conversions end up between 300 and 400 rwhp but I have heard of people with some high horsepower turbo builds using n/a rotors.
Sounds like you could do something similar to my plan. I have a Fueltech ECU I need to install. After I do that and learn to tune, I am going to turbocharge my S5 n/a motor. I will be using REW intake manifolds though by making and adapter to allow me to bolt the REW LIM to my S5 n/a or I will just buy this one if still available. FC engine to full Fd intake – JDL Manufacturing I already have the intakes. Then my next engine I plan to go to a 13B-REW.
You could build the S4 and turbo it like you plan and once you've hit a wall of the most you can do with the S4 or are out of spares then switch to the REW.
