13b 2nd Gen or 13B 3rd Gen??

Alright so im purchasing a FC soon.. Non turbo Fc with a bad oil leak. No problem. The engine is going in the trash anyways. What im thinking of is a Turbo II motor and trans or the 3rd gen TT motor and trans.. Will the 3rd gen fit properly with the tranny ? How about the harness and ecu? Any insite would be great about the benefits and downfalls on both please!!

I think it 'should' fit, however i heard something about the FD having some "power plant brace" thinggy that complicates things. You might also want to look into a Cosmo 13b Motor too. Harness is different as is the ECU. I would maybe go standalone on that (if you can afford it)...

It depends on funding as well. like if you have the cash to spend, or if you dont.
a T2 jspec would probably be cheaper since everything should fit ok and all that. The FD way would cost more.

Give some more details... how much you wanna spend? hp goals? whats the car being used for? something like that...
