13b is a 2 rotor 1300cc, 20b is a 3 rotor, 2000cc (or close enough) found in cosmo's.

The 13B is a two-rotor engine, the 20B is a three-rotor engine. They use the same sized rotors and housings, so comparing a 20B to a 13B is the same as comparing a 3.0L 6-cyl to a 2.0L 4-cyl.

20b - 13b = 7b (Algebra Humor)

For more discussions on the 20B, you can read through our 20B subforum.

i think you have to divide by b....then add some 0s....

(20b-13b)/b +......=20 ***** and a remainder of 13

yeah...that looks right

say b = 1300 (hehe)

26000 - 16900 = 7b (9100)

26000 - 16900 = 7? that'd be impressive

Ok, so I didn't set it up properly...

20b - 13b = 7b +13b

20 - 13 = 7 + 13

b = better

Do all the calculations for parts, labour and time, write it down, and then double it.

Yes, they will fit into an 88 TII, but a great deal of work is involved, partially because the engine mounts are different. Performance shops currently charge about $35,000 to rebuild and install a used 20B-REW into an RX-7.

do all your searches from the above links. also try http://www.20bvert.com we can't answer all your questions you're gonna have to search a little. it's not an easy operation, hence the hefty price tag of installation, unless you have a good source of tools and is mechanicaly inclined to do so it's going to be expensive.
