13 volts to fuel pump all the time
I just checked the blue wire on an S4 turbo (it said a blue wire with a red stripe in the HAYNES) to the fuel pump and it read that i was get about 12.95 volts even at idle.
Then i had someone rev the engine at WOT to 5k and it stayed exactly the same.
Isnt the voltage supposed to drop to 9 or so at idle?

Doesn't the fuel sender have full voltage? Maybe he's reading the wrong wire? I'm not sure what the colors are. The ground and power for the fuel pump are the two larger wires on the fuel pump harness.
if the rewire was done wouldnt that wire have a full 12 at idle anyway .,. and the relay would ground according to the amount of voltage being sent from the resistor??? kinda like a starter setup . like the power is always there and the relays grounds to complete the circut ?
