12psi, how much fuel????
I am getting my Racingbeat full exhaust and fuel-cut defensor this weekend. I am also porting out the turbo wastegate so i will not get boost creep. I have a s-afc, atmosphere bov and i was wondering for 12psi how much fuel i have to deliver to my power plant. I have 30k on it, original and a healthy turbo. Everything else is stock on the motor. My friend told me 20% but i want more opinions please, no offense kahren... thanx for your input.....

good point you have there RETed... Well i guess the answer i am looking for is around what should it be at, so i know where to start form and then i can play with it. Also how can i know if i am running lean? i have a egt temp hooked up to my dp, and also a water temp as well. But i am scared that somthing could happen before the gauges tell me...

T210thAnniv,
You should not adjust your S-AFC unless you have at least 2 things:
1. A wideband O2 sensor. This is the only way to accurately measure air/fuel ratios. Most of us can't afford the $1000+ to buy a wideband.
2. A complete understanding of what you are doing. If you tune too lean, you blow your engine.
Now, the best way to do this is to find a Dyno with a wideband and tune it between pulls. The wideband will tell you what your A/F ratios are throughout the rpm range. You want to shoot for a 12:1 ratio for maxium power. Any leaner and you are asking for trouble. Leaner being ABOVE 12:1, richer means below.
You will not want to adjust anything before you get on the dyno. Get a baseline run and see where you curve sits at each 1000 rpm. Then subtract a few % at each RPM level you need to, never more than 5% on the first try, and then make another pull. Check your results. Lather, rinse, repeat until you get where you want to go!
Hope this helps!

where are you getting the racing beat exhuast from? RX7 store used to have the system listed on its old platform but all I see there now is the catback. I know RB sells it directly for 790, but with the group buy going on for the RB catback for low 400 I could buy the RB dp and presilencer and make an entire turbo back system for cheaper, minus the gaskets. I too have a bunch of things about to be installed on the car, and I'll keep everyone updated:
52mm Greddy EGT guage (white face)
52mm Greddy boost guage (white face)
a pillar pod for the above
ngk plugs/wires
high flow walbro
another series 4 turbo/mannifold in good shape with a wastegate ported to the maximum it can be on the stock flap.
as you can see once I get all the above on soon, the fcd and RB exhuast is going on so I'm getting pretty excited.
