12LB Flywheel Results

Ok I dont have dyno comparisons yet but within this week I will have it for everyone as well as 60foot times later next month.

Anways just instaled 12lb flywheel over my 22lb 89GXL flywheel and the difference is very noticable in responsivness. I feel like I have more power to the wheels because I can actually chirp the drag radial if I just snap the gas around 5-6k rpms. It revs noticably faster in the mid range and mabey higher havent payed attention to much.

Starting from a stop or hill is no problem. Only requires slightly more slipping of the clutch and I havent stalled since it was put in.

LAUNCHING....... Ok I launched from a dead stop and noticed my 60 foot times might possibly be better or at LEAST the same. The car never bogged even with my Drag Radials. Although I did spin to much so I barely let off the gass and it sorta bogs after the tires grip but thats because I didnt feather the throttle right. Regardless it still launched hard or harder than before. Before I launched at 6k and just feather the throttle a little. Here I had to do the same thing at the same RPM just have to feather it a little better.

Its a 12lb Centerforce Flywheel that I bought very lightly used or just worn in for cheap BUT I do recomend Centerforce flywheel because its only 360 new

Its Aluminum. I would get it But make sure you get a good clutch to. My standard clutch cant even chirp 2nd gear
