10's were damn hard enough to get in there youd have a heck of a time with 12's. You probably wouldnt have enough space in the box for the speakers to get enough air unless you got so low air speakers.

hybrid racer............nice install.......i had a similar setup in my old 87 GXL........i actually had them sitting down in the boxes a little and bandpassed them with 1/4" acrylic
the air space was fine and they sounded great.......just one note........you can get a nice cleaner look by drilling a small hole in the bottom corner behine either seat and running the cables out thru there and underneath the trim that runs along the bottom of the door and then up to wherever they go

Ah well our whole goal on that project was not to modify anything and to just get them in there. If I had it to do over again Id rip out the whole back part and just build a laaaaaaarge box and put some 12's in. But im fine with the way it is now because I dont really listen to bassy music so it actually sounds really good and I dont mind the wires But your right it would look better out the bottom. Talk to my brother though, he was in charge of running all the wiring, me and his friend built the boxes
