110k Miles

I am soon going to go look at a 87 N/A FC 5 speed. The guy says he knows his stuff abotu 7's and says the car is in good condition. He concluded that the engine was replaced some time before he bought the car ( how he knows this I have no idea ) so I was just wondering what kinda mileage will a N/A FC stand up to if I take good care of it but push it sometimes ? I only need it for a year or so, thanks

Taken care of and redlined at least once a drive, and you could see 200k miles on just the engine.

Since you don't know the age of the engine or condition when put in, its hard to say for sure. But figuring a new motor at 60K miles, you should have another 100k to 150k miles if properly taken care of.
