10th Anniversery Rebuild

Hi, I am new to these forums. I have a 10th Anniversery with about 80,000k and I parked it in my garage about 5 years ago. When I parked it there the mazda dealer told me they couldn't do a proper used car inspection on it because of low pressure in the seals. I am at the point that I am ready to restore it to prestine condition. I am pretty good with the mechanics of rebuilds but not the technical sides. I want to restore the car mechanically then restore the apperarence. I just need a starting point on the mechanical sides of things. Can someone point me to a page or another post so I can figure out where to get started. I want to install race performance parts and get the thing running fast. I don't want to take 4 weeks just learning what I need to replace or replace with what. I want a how to guide and a what to buy guide PEROID. Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum

Well, It's highly recommended to have a pro rebuilt it for you but if you believe you can do it then go for it.

www.rotaryresurrection.com is cheap and good
www.pineappleracing.com has some good stuff too.

www.mazdatrix.com
Good for stock parts

www.mazdaformance.com
stock parts again

www.fc3s.org has good write ups and tips.

other than that just search the forum for any questions you have. Most likely they have been answered before.
