Question 10th annaversary = $2,200?

Hello, I normally stay out of the second gen forum cause I own a '84 gsl-se, but you might here from me more soon. I have a chance to buy an 88 10th annaversary edition for $2200. It's in good shape in and out and runs excelent. It has 90,000 miles on it, and has the usuall chips in the paint on the front from rocks and a little crack in the front air dam. Good deal or not? Let me know what you guys think.

Just be sure to get a compression test by mazda on the motor. The 10th AE falls into the 86-88 years, so it tops out at 160-180K miles before an engine rebuild.

Maxing the stock fuel system & upping the boost to 8PSI will give you 220-240HP. Just be sure to get a boost gague, air/fuel and maby an exhaust temp & coolant temp gague.
