10th Ae continued ver. 3

So issue still remains the same. Car just cranks.

So far, I have clean out the fuel tank, replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plus, wires, cleand injectors, removed emissions, .

Then while cranks I heard a hissing sounds and the primary injector started leaking, ripped o ring ( no clue how that happened).

going to try crazy deflooding procedures again. oil or even possibly the atf in the plug holes

haha i had the same issues with my 10ae when i first bought it. Minimal advice, but from what i gather dont EVER atf the plugs, it will eat your seals alive.

Ha same exact thing, we had to push start it.
The car woulding drive good over 3k and it was backfiring like a bitch.
We changed out the injectors and found out one was stuck so it was flooding the car.
Hopefully today ill get it running. If i do ill let you know what i did man so you could get your running.

ehh...you have no idea what you are talking about.

what the hell is "atf the plugs"? what does that have to do with seals?

if you are talking about pouring atf into the spark plug holes you are grossly mistaken.

We replaced the injectors and put better o-rings on them.
Now we have to push start the car to idle, but it does idle.
We havent taken it out for a spin yet because there is something messed up on it still.
My rtek was plug into the 10th and it said everything was fine.
So were still stumped.

I would double check your timing. I just recently finished a rebuild on my 10AE. It wouldnt start because i forgot to re time it when i put it all back together. And recently i had the exact same problem you guys had with the back firing like a bitch under 3 and running great after. My car still however started ok but it sounded like it was running on one rotor. But it turned out i fouled out the plugs because its running rich and i couldnt really get on it (400miles) to burn the extra fuel. i went nuts trying to figure it out. but i cleaned them up drove it around all was back to normal and still runs great. 600 miles now.. i hope it helps..

alright, I had the injectors cleaned by which hunter.

Well the engine is and only things nothing are the gaskets looked like crap but everything else looked fine. Since I got the engine out.

Would I be fine with a gasket and rotor kit. Saves me like 400 bucks at atkins or
can I go with their rebuild " Kit A" which is only 520

Witch Hunter Performance is awesome. Very good turnaround time. My 10th AE sat for 12 years and now is almost back on the road. I am just waiting for my Rtek 2.1. Good luck on the car.
