10th Ae continued ver. 2

So The last thing im doing, which I should of done in the first place is rlpacing the fuel pump. The car had been sitting there for 6 years. I had the injectors cleaned and the guy said they were crap before he cleaned them. So im wondering:

What fuel pump should I get I was thinking the walbro 2hhlph, where a good place to ordet it, any specific of fuel lines.

Also hows the afc neo

If you're stock stay away from the walbro, it will raise your fuel pressure, make you run rich and could cause flooding and smoking on start up. If you have an after market FPR then you might be able to get around those issues.

The FD fuel pump is cheap, reliable, and wont cause any of the aforementioned malady's.

mods i have i should of mentioned
:

street port, Turbonetics t04 turbo, pfcon, apexi old school afc (want to update it to the new safc neo) .

That was the only reason considering the walbro,

well ordered the new walbro fuel pump, figure should be good. Has aeromotive regulator on it just need new gauge, but not sure if regulator is 100% fine.

The thing that is getting me that I had it running for a day. Was bad idle and backfiring but ran and started up but now nothing. Thing that is pissing me off the most is that i never checked the gas tank. propbably had 8 year old gas in it if it hadnt dried up. Ill find out tomorrow about the tank after i install the pump.
