i have been doing searches for a friend trying to find replacement keys for his 10th AE (original replacement keys have a rotary symbol on them). does anyone know where he can purchase them? and how much? or does someone have a pair lying around? help us out.

I assume you have to find ones that are uncut? Or can you make a working key out of a normal pair? I have both of mine, but I might be able to track down some already cut AE keys from a friend of mine .. maybee you can transplant the rotor symbols to a blank key nd get it cut.

he is looking for blanks, but will consider the complete lockset with original 10th AE keys and locks. i have inquired from others about these but most people only have duplicate keys and not original to the 10th AE. hope someone can help us out.

What's your mazda dealership say on that?

 

they say they cant get em...something weird going on at my dealer actually since they are going through new ownership or something. another company is buying out the dealership out here. but they told me i might be able to find them at a dealership in another state. sounds stupid right?

 

my dealership can get them for $140... for a ******* key blank!!!

 

damn....anyone know where to get anything cheaper than that? canada maybe? heheh. anyone please help!!
