10AE Owners: How do i clean the Crystal White AE rims *searched*

I recently picked up my 10AE, and the rims have permanent dirt imbedded into them. I have tried to clean them but nothing works.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks, or special products that might make them clean up a little better? It almost seems like someone was working on the car, doing a tire rotation or something, and dirtied them up, and never cleaned it, so I dont know. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

i wouldnt recommend A2z because it contains acid that can damage the paint. and you probably dont have proper wheel brushes to clean it so you can severly mar the paint. i suggest trying clay bar if you havent tried yet. id use the new clay bar on the cars paint first so you dont waste it on the wheels lol. you can reused the old claybar on the wheels as long as there isnt any dirt (sand, pebbles etc) embedded in the clay bar. PM me if anything.

they aren't powdercoated, they're painted.

I had the most luck using foaming engine bay cleaner on my wheels.
not leaving it on long is probably a good idea.

The wheels ARE painted and as such they should be treated EXACTLY as you treat the paint on your car. If you've tried an all wheel cleaner already with limited results it's time to move on.

Pick up a mothers claybar kit from your auto parts store and use as directed - it will pull embedded dirt from the wheel's paint and ger the surface slick and smooth.

After claying, the wheels should be polished (with any number of quality auto-polishes - for over the counter products, meguiars stuff works well). For the AE white wheels, I'd recommend Meguiars dual action cleaner polish by hand. This polish should remove any further staining and get rid of scratches etc...

After polishing coat the wheels with a quality synthetic wax (over the counter products include meguiars NXT and eagle one nano wax). The wax will offer protection to the surface and brake dust will literally wash right off the next time you clean the wheels.

Remember to use soft terry cloth towels or quality microfiber to apply and remove products from paint. These steps should get your wheels as clean as they can be! From this point forward, cleaning should be a breeze with whatever quality car wash solution you use for your car.
