1000cc injectors with a stock ECU???

I have a streetported S4 T2 with 3" exhaust. Basically everything else is stock including the ECU. It does have a FCD.

Could I put 1000cc injectors in place of the stock secondaries? How would that run? Would it be too much fuel for the stock ECU?

short answer: no

it would probably bog when you hit 3800 rpm. it's way too much fuel. just get a fuel computer. I would recommend an EMS if you have the money.

Ok, thats pretty much what I figured...

720cc's would be a better drop in choice then right?

changing the injectors while still using the stock ECU is a bad idea, get a fuel computer like an SAFC or an rtek, or my preference a EMS (search for the ZEMS for a cheap, good EMS)

honestly, 720's are fine on a stock ECU if you are running enough boost to utilize the fuel

you dont need 1000cc injectors unless you are boosting over 12psi and have larger turbo. rtek or safcII with that setup will be fine.

i agree with the others!

i had 1000cc secondaries with stock ECU too, they worked fine, but you need a SAFC to control the amount of fuel! but if you plan to stay stock turbo, 1000cc are way too big!
