No. Very much no. You should be seeing 200 under normal driving, and more on the highway. I've seen 300 on a tank, once (tailwind). However, if you're driving the car hard (track like duty, sustained really high speeds (100+)/RPM, etc) fuel economy will suck.

As discussed over AIM, you should do a full tuneup. Assume that anything you don't know the replacement time on is ancient.

Plugs
Wires
Oxygen sensor
Air filter
Fuel filter
Clean fuel injectors (professionally, if possible, but fuel injector cleaner may help some)
Adjust TPSs

Once you've removed those variables, if fuel economy still sucks, you can continue troubleshooting without worrying about something silly like fouled plugs causing the problem.

Strictly around town I see 220-240 a tank. I've gone over 300 many times when I threw some highway in there. I am also driving a 91 NA. I suggest checking for codes, something isn't right.

That's really bad. I see about 300 miles before the fuel light comes on of mixed city/highway(mainly traffic). This is on a TII with 1000cc secondaries. I've gotten 400 miles with just highway averaging about 90MPH.

Mostly highway miles for me so far with a '90 N/A and I can get over 200 miles on a tank.

Hell I take that back, I made it 250 miles on half a tank. ;D On the freeway from San Diego to LA, filled up and when I got here still had half a tank. That's with lots of cruising in 5th.

my 91 coupe would get 220-240 in the city and on long highway trips at 78~85mph i didnt have much trouble getting over 300miles i cannot remeber my best but i think it was nearly 370 miles and still had a little bit in the tank. find out what the problems are and fix them.

Wow... ok, I thought my 300 tank on the highway was good. I'm sure the injectors will help, though. I just need a time when I'm not driving highway for long enough to do it (my beater won't do highway anymore - overheats).

100? Egad!

My 91 couple will get about 200-220 on a tank of gas, but that's not completely empty, I usually refill it when it gets to the 1/4 tank mark. I don't drive like a granny either, I like the 4-6k rpm neighborhood.

did you check the gage to see if it's working right. it could be waaaaaaaay off, and not your mileage.

My gas guage doesn't work (any idea what I should check to fix that?) but I got 130 miles on a full tank all local driving before my car ran out of gas and stalled on a main street... But my tank also has a hairline crack near the top and drips fuel when it's full so I don't usually fill it.

to check to see if your guage works, wait till your gas light comes on then fill up and you should beable to fit at least 12 gallons in there. I average 300 on full tank with all city driving....fast city driving....
