1/4 mile times s5 semi stock

so im wondering about what quartermile times id be running
my 89 gtu i cleared out the cat
it has a racing beat header going to the hollowed cat.
k&n cone filter (stock cold air wouldent fit with my koyorad dual pass & efan set up)
minor weight reductions
128,000 miles good compression 5 speed ouf coarse

Most likely 16 seconds.

I really like the NA 13b, but it has hardly any torque.

My 26yr old NA vert will eat my wifes 2010 Mazda 3 alive but I wouldn't take either one to the drag strip.

With my old SE I ran a 16.1 @ 84MPH with basic modifications.

Problem is there just isn't any power.

NA RX7s do well to stay away from the drags, its going to be outrun by V6 automatic Accords and Camrys. Like a Miata, it's gifts lie in handling and balance, but it's not much better than a lot of ordinary modern sedans and hatchbacks in terms of acceleration. It's not dead slow, but it ain't fast
