Help ! Car will not start. It is getting spark ( used timeing light )and fuel, but when I take the plugs out they have gas on them. I drained the tank, and put fresh gas in. The car has sat for several weeks. I took two fuses out of the engine bay, and removed all the plugs and fuel would spray out of the plugs for about 4 seconds. Is the car flooded ? Compression seems good.

yikes! sounds like you need to replace the injectors.

 

I got it running now, huge amounts of white smoke came out of the exhaust Idled correctly, but I went to start it about 3 hours later to see if everything was still good, but now it is not idleing at all. Also I noticed that it is missing ever so often. I got new spark plug wires coming in tommarow to help isolate the problem... Also going to put in a new fuel filter tommarow. Anybody who has experienced these problems, and has any suggestions please feel free to reply.

 

Btw, when I drained the tank there was like a gallon of water and rust in there.
