*&*# *#& # Top bolt on transmission bell housing

Guys, seriously need help. I am typing with oily hands. Okay.

I have a 91 auto trans NA. Replacing the tranny. The top left bolt on the bell housing. How the %&$# do you reach that? Anyone have this experience? Anyone know how to get that bolt off with the minumum amount of removing stuff? Please help.

if you can't reach it from under the hood, maybe try from under the car. I don't remember needing anything besides a ratchet, socket, and maybe a 3 inch extension.

You dont need to remove the UIM.
Attack it from under the car, like Project84 said...just some commong tools.

Except, try using a combination wrench as well....14mm if I remember right?
