$800, what should I do?

I have about $800 to spend on my new 86 rx7. anybody have any ideas for me? I was thinking struts and springs and maybe exhaust if I have enough. I am looking for good quality stuff, not too worried about price.

Well I don't know wat u are planning to do with ur car and I don't know what the emissions laws are like where you live but I would start off with a nice exhaust system.Cat-back I guess if you have troubles with the emissions

yes, duals r mosty common for NA's, the big fat single ones are for turbos, i heard the apex duals are actually one of the loudest and most efficiant gain of HP, im planning to get this too in the future, do a search on dual apex. =) most other people have other dual setups mostly because of thier budget, but u dont care about price right? hehe, apex and all others are rather more expensive.

For 800 bucks you could buy an E6K or a microtech, set it up and get a couple hours of tuning in, much better than a piggy back.

get new suspension. Your struts & springs are shot. Do suspension bushings too.

Yea if I had the money, I would get an ecu to tune. This will be a very good investment even if you meet your goal and then decide to go a little further (ie. turbocharging)

I wish my parents bought me stuff. Even though I wouldn't want it because I wouldn't appreciate it.

good advice.

Tune-up or something. Spending $800 on a suspension, paint or stand alone ecu is worthless if the car is not running.

Save it for GAS

Paint is prime, I bought it from a very particular lady that is the original owner. Had every maintenance receipt. It has a little idling problem I am going to get checked out, it has sat for a few months so it may just need some breaking in and new plugs and wires. Thanks for the ideas, but keep them coming.

I dont think the CS midpipe will bolt up to the racing beat header, there will be a 2 inch gap left btween the midpipe and the cat back

GAH!...are you serious?!?!...this dude on this forum told me he was running this setup and it was flawless...may have read his reply wrong though...

RB headers into RB presilencers into the CS midpipe into the CS catback...

...that was the original plan, anyways...
