$300 s4

Well I'm still waiting on pics and some more detailed info.

I know a kid who needs to get rid of his 87 rex. He said he bought the car from a guy who wanted to race it out but one day he drove it to work and at the end of the day it wouldn't start. I think it's flooded and the kid nor the guy know anything about them really. He bought it for 600 and said he'll sell it to me for 300. Here's the lowdown so far.

Engine turns over great but won't start. He bought new sparkplugs, new ignition box, changed the oil... still won't start.

Body is in good shape and most stuff it there. (I was worried the first guy was gonna strip everything out cuz he wanted a race car. He didn't though.)

Lights and stuff works but the last guy installed some ricer crap door poppers and disconnected the handles so now you need a key fob to open them.

Not sure what model but it is definitely not a turbo (This is how I know the kid knows jack because he doent even know what an FC is, what an s5 or s5 is, and doesn't even know if it is a gxl, gtu, etc.)

I was thinkin $300 aint bad for a parts car and if I get it running, or not, it will be a cool project car. I will be able to do stuff to that engine that im too chicken to risk my 90 gxl (that runs great) ie. engine, block teardown.

Whaddya think fellow rotorheads. I'll post pics and more info when I've got it.

Go for it, if you can get it running, what a steal for 300 bucks =)

Might as well, could probably make 300 off like.... 4-5 of its biggest parts, and that's only if you don't get it running. Get it running (could be entertaining to get it going again) and like p4nc7 said, it's a steal

Go for it. Even if it is totally fooked, you could still make a decent profit off parts.
