just look under there and see if you bent something. you probably busted your struts and crushed some bearings.

Or just roll it to a goodyear and tell them your car is driving funny and have them look.

Definitely a lateral link and wheel bearing. Check to see if the hub cracked. I waffled a FD rim and bent a LL once but everything else was still holding strong. I hit dirt not concrete though.

I would go with this but I wouldn't say "its driving funny", you want them to know what they are looking for. Just bend the truth to not make yourself look like an idiot and still let them know the situation - you hit a patch of ice around a corner, slammed into a curb and bent your wheel, and you wanna check for further damage.

dude, take some photos? you give us like little to no information and are expecting us to give you legitimate answers?

you didn't even mention which end you hit on the curb, front? rear? how fast were you going? and nobody here knows at what angle. Come on dude.

Snow Drifting one day a couple years ago I bent a stock rim on a water pipe sticking up out of the ground. It was hidden under the snow.

only the front rim was damaged. the tire wasn't hit and was still holding air.

Cool story bro. You must suck at drifting if you understeered into a pipe.

as rude as he sounded, its the truth. its one thing to be in the center of a huge *** parking lot but going near curbs in snow when you dont know what youre doing is going to **** **** up. also if he resisted the urge to understeer into a curb in the first place he would have saved himself some scratch.

Drifting (crashing) happens. Big deal. Lets help this dude out. Where did you hit. i.e. front right, rear right etc...

And how did you hit it, did you roll over the curb, as in kinda drive over it, or did you smack into it sideways?

These cars are pretty sturdy, i've smashed my car a few times. So trust me I know haha. Check all of your control arms where you hit, use the side you didn't hit (or antoher car) as reference to see if anything is bent or pinched. A bent rear subframe is possible. But I need to hear more of what happend to help ya out.

I did the same thing last year, bent a rim and a lateral arm. i replaced everything on that side just to be safe, but im sure the lateral arm was the only real damage.

Turbo II Rotor hit the nail on the head, that lateral link is toast, they must make them out of the same stuff as teenage girls' self esteem.

chances are if you replace that link (or even just remove it and pound it relatively straight w/ a hammer while rolling it down your driveway....don't ask how I know) you'll go a long way towards fixing your problem. But you definitely want to get the alignment set....cuz its way out.

There's your solution.

Keep in mind all the all wheel drive and traction control in the world wont save you from being a dumbass.

Rx7's aren't known for their winter handling prowess.

this guy is a multi strike offender.

1. putting an fd in harms way. Really. That's like saying "i'm going to go out and wreck a mint condition expensive *** rare car!

2. JDM badge

3. SECOND GEN DSM SPOILER! WHAT THE FLYING **** DIE PLZ THNX!?!

4. Shitty music

+1 on lateral link. i think they make them weak on purpose so that in a "sliding accident" they go first and nothing else breaks. easy to replace. hub should be fine. I slid into a tree once and just had to replace the link and was good
