Thats the so called ABS brake system, which actually works quite well for me, it did leak before but its all good now once i replaced a few lines. Many people who have ABS eliminate it with either using the mazdatrix ABS delete kit, or if people have parts cars that are non-abs equiped they swap. I decided to keep mine.
