you live in LA, id say yes, you will get harassed by police. I usually tend to perfer no window tint on sports cars as its more an excuse to get pulled over. Rear is ok but they might mess with you for the sides.

You might wanna check out the write up i recently did for your window trim pieces

deff too dark for ca. laws say that sides can be no darker than 85-80%, the rear can be 0%. if its a sedan, then the two rear can be limo as well as the rear glass. the passenger and drivers side cannot be tinted. prepare for harassment and a few fix it tickets.

here in Holland it is also illegal to have them tinted beyond 50%, the front window may not be tinted.
i have been driving around like this for over 3 years now without any problems...

if your ok with it, then keep em.. get your moneys worth. If they came with the car, keep it since someone obiously paid to put em on. If you start to get pulled over, then consider pulling them.

aint like your going to get arrested, its just a simple ticket. I believe if you remove the tint and have the car inspected the ticket gets thrown out.

Now if your the type of person who, how shall we say this- does not want to draw attention to themselves because of your various hobbys or lifestyle then you may want to try to make your life easier and just go legal.

Remember you can keep the back window as dark as you want, its just the sides you would have to change.
