Who else loves playing in the snow?
Well I have 4 studded snow tires, I take my car snowboarding and have never once been stuck, and have more control then most Subarus and SUVs. I've never once been in an accident. I only drive mine in the snow when I'm out to have fun, for DDing I just drive my Honda.... Hater.... ur car's ugly!!!! Lol j/k

But yes, other people are really what's scary in the snow.. That same trip going up to the GF's I saw a Tercel that had apparently spun out on the side of the road [it was parked the wrong way on the shoulder
]A few years before that I saw a nice Frontier 4x4 try to make a turn and slide [with the wheels turned] right into a sidewalk.. lol, instantly deflated that tire and probably bent something..
I do wish I could shelter my FC from bad weather in general, but she's my only car. I've been driving her in Colorado winters for 7 years now and I have a pretty good feel for how she handles and what the limits are. I agree that it's all the other people who don't know how to drive that scares me. When I call in to work due to bad weather, it isn't because I can't get there, it's because I don't want to be on the roads with all the other *********.

It seems like you would have a lot more control while drifting on snow tires. Dunno though, I've never driven with them.
Thought some of you might enjoy this high quality quicktime version of the snow edit:

Snow In MO
Here is my contribution... We are supposed to get another 4 to 6" on top of what's in the pic. Sorry, no live footage. Notice the tracks I made though. That's how I park when it snows. (Don't have to use the driveways to turn around.

I'm fairly confident my FC has never seen snow, aside from what blows in when I open the garage to move other cars in and out.
My BMW is a blast to drive in the crud though, good balance + I6 = fun.

correction, snow will not eat a car like cancer, salt will eat a car like a fat kid eating a cupcake, or cancer. I agree with rob, but do understand that some people can only have one car.
my car is of course in the garage as well, want an rx8 for a winter beat:p i am jealous of the parking lot fun though

wash the car after driving. during winter i wash it at a car wash after a drive. it only cost like 2 dollars to wash with high pressure. my record is 3 washes in one week. better than walking.
Colorado doesn't salt the roads nearly as badly as they do back east. I've always been amazed at how much rust the cars have out there. In the high altitude sun, the snow melts pretty quick.
/\ +1 waaayyy too much salt here. not worth gettin salt all in the cracks and crevices under my 7 even after a wash.
As for snow here we are looking at another foot or two.
when i used to drift in the snow I slid off the parking lot a bit not really realizing it and hit one of those small water pipes that go in the ground. ruined a stock rim so i guess that wasnt too bad.
