Nasa and SCCA REQUIRE it. I had to re-do mine because of that too. Check into the rules about your rear bars, but you most definitely have to have that cross bar in the main hoop. It's part of a standard roll bar and it also reinforces the harness bar.

Whoever is doing your cage better read these rules and also look into the required thickness of the tubing used (you will also have to drill an inspection hole in the cage somewhere)

Don't **** around with your safety, read the rules, do it right so you don't have to cut it out.
yeah your right. im in canada at this track called dunnville its legit. um when i get home i will get on that because i was looking to get my license at nasa.

Wow, that looks amazing dawicka2. If the rear was a bit more rounded off it would be better, but thats just me.

Still looks awesome.

thanks k!nch. I agree with you about the rear and when i repaint the car i should have plans drawn up by then. amber corner lights are now in and i am waiting for a headlight bushing so the lights sit level.

Unfortunately, I had a blown apex seal in rotor #2. I swapped a $500 junkyard block in from a S4 auto. I'm rebuilding the original motor now.
