I tend to like cars that have some historical importance behind them.
ferrari 308gtb or ferrari 288gto *tho such a rare car i probably shouldnt drive it*
ferrari f40
73 porsche 911 carrera rs
porsche 914-6 *those look fun http://www.p914.com/p914-resources/p...-6-1510-01.jpg
mercedes benz 190e 2.5 evolution II
65 mustang gt fastback
Shelby Cobra replica
Datsun 240zg
lamborghini miura *the sexiest lambo ever http://autoworld.files.wordpress.com...-sv-img_35.jpg *
Ferrari 348 or F355 Spider *last modern ferrari that doesnt look cheap imo http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...der_vl_red.jpg

anyways, that Ferrari 308gtb is a realistic goal of mine, hell even modding it.. this guys build up is very motivational even tho to "ferrari collectors", it cuts the value of the car lol

^ Austin you know I have to get on you about your picks
1st you don't like any new cars!? At all?
I'm not hating on old cars I'll have some in my picks
Second the 914 is not that great of a car, I mean it okay but soooo slow.

I think all the Ferrari's look cheap and like **** but my fav is the F40
so that the first on my list of many cars I like.
Oh and I don't think racecars should count unless it is also a road car. 787B your not going to drive on the street.

1. F40 I would daily drive I don't give a ****!
2. 997 GT3RS
3.Toyota Chaser JZX100
4.Cayanne Turbo S
5.Dodge Viper ACR

A 914-6 slow?
In 1970 Porsche entered a 914/6 GT in the 24 hours of Le Mans race. It finished 6th overall and won its class. This was only one chapter in the vehicle's extensive racing career, which continues even to this day.

A well sorted one will definitely take that Cayman S on your list's lunch money.

1957 Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic. Pure style, and worth 10 million.

1966 Cobra Super Snake. 2 of them were built..One for Carroll Shelby and one for Bill Cosby. One recently sold for 5.5 million

1961 Ferrari 250 GT California. Got 11 million laying around? That's how much one of these recently sold for:

1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K...Supercharged 5.4L, 4-wheel independent suspension, 4 speed manual transmission, and a top speed of over 100mph. In 1937. 8.8 Million

...and so on. All beautiful, fast cars, and all on my ultimate wishlist.

Can you imagine stumbling onto THAT?

Also, beautiful as they are, the 308GTB wasn't really THE Ferrari to have from that era. If I were to have any late 70's - early 80's Ferrari, it'd be a Berlinetta Boxer all the way! The 512BB looks a bit like a 308GTB, but it's got a 340 hp V12, and it's much more rare. They replaced the Daytona in '79 and were replaced by the Testarossa in '85.

lmao no disrespect to the FCs, but man fc isnt too high up on the collectors scale. They just not pretty when we compare them to some of the cars in this thread, esp the exotics, or what Im aiming for "the affordable exotics". Thats like a kid making the 91 Honda Civic Si his dream car lol

2007 Spyker F1 car, even tho the team sucked, still a modern F1 car

As much as i love the fc and all, im going to agree also about the FC should not be on the list, only because that based on OPs initial question cars that are obtainable in an instant without the issue of money/ or availability. Why not go all out? 5 trillion dollar car, 1 only like it in the world, has 6000hp, but was made 5000 years in the future..sure why not. ill take that and put it on the top of the list...whatever it is, as long as i can use it as a daily.
