You say the arches... as in the top of the wheel well? If that's the case there is a picture thread somewhere on the site.

Sorry I can't remember what thread it was in, unfortunately most of those threads are 100+ pages. What size wheels are you trying to run?

To be more specific the picture I saw on here was in either like a wheel fitment thread or drift car pic or fc pic thread... sorry I can't remember exactly where...

Ok ya I think my buddy mike knows your cousin or something like that. I think he might have bought your t2 seats or something like that. I never realized how many fc's othello had till a month ago. Tubbing does look clean though I agree with you on that

hit up the drift section. i dont think anyone has done it, only because i dont think the wheel wells really cause that much problem. youre going to hit the frame rail before you hit the wheel well.

Yeah I searched for a good while my phone died lol most I found was a fd. I figured some one has to have done it. no real point to the mod but i figured it cleans the engine bay up more then anything. Guess if I accualy do it I'll make sure to post pics.

I have actually thought about this a lot recently as i'm working on an LSX swap and I want to do it know while there is no engine in my way. I haven't seen any FC's with it done before either, and am wondering if it's needed on this chassis, I want to run 18x10 or 18x9.5 or even 18.9 in low offsets WITH modded knuckles so there would be a lot of turn angle.

I'm considering doing it even if it's not needed, like you said clean up the bay. The only down side is I think the distance from the strut tower to the rad/headlight support is shorter than the S13/S14 chassis's. This would put the end of the arch nearly to the headlights. I'm planning to use the Northern Tool Fender trailer method as it's yeilded some great results, and is cheaper and thicker than pre-built tubs.

The only real thing holding me back is wondering If I will regret it, time to do it, and relocating the battery.

Here is a thread i've been saving for ideas.
