Years of studying the Japanese rotary tuning scene, because the US scene is really disappointing. Always behind on things. Friends, magazines, blogs... That's all you need my friend.

Back to the topic:
no need more magazines when you have blogs like these...

I remember seeing a video clip of this Scoot tuned fc running around, it's quick but i dont know how quick it is on TC2000.

never found out how fast he ran

Not a time attack machine, but this shot is nice

sadly i feel the same way sometimes, alot of guys are quick to put it down without giving it a chance or even consideration. If you saw these cars up close, you would admire the detail and selection of parts, theres more consideration in suspension then alot of guys overall cars on this forum. I was talking to someone who has a built fc and he was even saying that people shouldnt put down on the japanese because they have been tuning these cars for much longer, they do tricks that you dont see on this forum. Its tough to voice your opinion on this forum without getting bashed about it. It probably plays with your generation, background and location in the states, if your from the west coast , theres alot more jdm influence, esp when you go to car meets you see it etc.

guess guys just got a bad impression on jdm confusing it up with fast and furious nonsense ricers..
im still on zilvia *240sx forum* , crowd is way more open minded about jdm tuning ideas.. even 240s get put down on here like they are ford probes lol

thanks for the posts dorifter_lexx..

got any info on this car?

I've learned a lot throughout the years from the Japan rotary tuning scene. Hoping I could shed some light and share what I've learned, but like you said people are always quick to bash. So I shut myself out and do my own thing now. But then again, what good is knowledge if it is kept to yourself?

Hmm... I should start another blog, but for FC3S specific huh? Just like http://rextreme.blogspot.com/ for FD3S. Too much time.

That blue fc belongs to Garage IRS's team. They're no big shop, they specialize in rotary. Under the hood of that fc is a Greddy TD06-25g, v-mount ic, and other small modifications. The exterior modification is pretty obvious, Gp sports front with custom flush lights... Tamon D. wide fenders and quarter panels, TDC hood, acrylic windows, etc. This car was built to run TC2000, so they say. They've had a few problems in the past runs, breaking the transmission and a few things. The quickest time was 1.00.264, which isn't too bad. This fc have a lot more in it. With the right driver, I'm sure it can clock some good numbers.

I <3 track FCs. I've watched that first video like 1000 times . I wish time attack (and other forms of real track racing) was more popular in the US. In the area I live basically your only choices are drag racing or drifting, both fun in their own way, but neither are as awesome.

I swear, one of these days, ol' rusty is getting stripped, rotisseried, and built up into a track beast .

I think its cooler than those IMSA cars, those things where all tube chassis etc.. the japanese cars where all based on production chassis.

Bumping an old old thread in hopes for any more progress/development on the Supernow FC? I read somewhere last year that he had abandoned the FC build for a Lexus LFA? Just curious if there's any more to learn from that world famous FC!

Awesome, thanks for the vid.

I guess Supernow abandoned keeping it a street car. Looks a lot more stable now though.
