that is odd cuz i have the mazdatrix 3point w/engine brace and it clears my fd alt with room to spare

like hyper said I think it depends on your series motor, in my case Im running a series 4 front cover for the manual OMP

I have had the TCS brace for a few years, yes it is close but it fits perfectly. Never had contact between the bar and the alternator. I am running an S4 motor fyi. I think the 1/2" is plenty of room, I have intercooler pipes less than a 1/4" that don't hit the bar.

mine is a completely s4 n/a with fd alt. these aren't the greatest angle but you can there is room between the bar and alt

i started typing a different response them remembered why mine didnt fit, its because the pulleys I am using I had to shim the alternator a bit forward to get them to align, this makes it hit the bar. This was like 2 years ago so it was a little fuzzy in the old brain of mine

in this picture it is just sitting there, and I had already ground it down a bit
