Yeah, these pictures made the rounds last year when the "Cash for Clunkers" program was still happening. Some people said it was no loss since it was only an S4 NA, but that's the kind of car I have. I agree it was a shame, but somebody got more from the government than they could have gotten by selling the car.

Those people obviously live in areas where cars don't rust . An FC with no rust is a good find no matter what model. Also, that FC looks like it might have no sunroof, that's pretty uncommon from what I've seen (even though I have 2 sunroof-less FCs), it would have made a great track car or something, or a nice car for someone who doesn't want to deal with the oh-so-common sunroof rust and leaks.
But I guess to the general population, getting $3k off a new boring econobox is more important than preserving a semi-rare old sports car.
