Thumbs up Teaser pics of my latest Turbo II... Hehe.

Things to note, visible on pics:

~Mazdaspeed lip
~stock s5 TII side-skirts
~Asahi Starion wheels (custom fitted, dawwwg)
~Rolled fenders
~RSR *race* springs & KYB AGX struts

I'll probably add some more pics that go over the entire car--but these were the only one's worth posting. Paint, body-stuff, engine is all new and I'm stoked to be driving it finally!

Here's it's (now jealous) little brother:

That looks dumb. You should probably just go ahead and get rid of it. Luckily for you I run a sort of orphanage, if you will, for FCs. Go ahead and send it my way, then we can be rid of this nasty situation.

Ok, I have to know....how are the front rims not contacting the brake caliper? Im going to assume longer wheel studs and a fairly large spacer. And are those teh 16x7 and 16x8 or the 16x8 and 16x9 combo?

something like that, i have a set of the 16x7 and 16x8 and the 16x8 has a backspacing close to 4" but the 'spoke' of the rims themselves hit the front calipers before you can even get a lug nut to thead.

Haha... I MUST PUBLICLY THANK ROTARY GUY FOR HOOKING ME UP TONIGHT! My alternator belt broke on the way up to meet him--and he drove the extra distance and brought me a belt! A true "rotary guy"...

Read my original post you n00b.

Haha, good question... I'm running a 12mm spacer, and I had to grind off a *little* bit of the brake-caliper "edge" and some of the "bump" (you know what I'm talking about). It's still a pretty tight clearance.

These are the 7's and 8's--although I'm hoping for a set of the 16x8/16x9 SHP wheels for my "actual" Turbo II (which is still in the build process)... Super rare though.

Hmmmm, think you could pm me a picture of the "grinding" involved on the caliper? Buddy of mine's widebody FB is getting a 5-lug conversion and were contemplating running the starion wheels since we already have them.

Hummm... Can you wait a couple days? I'm going to be swapping brake-lines, so I'll have the wheels off and be able to get better pics. It's nothing crazy.

Haha, thanks brotha'... This one has a street-ported engine with 9.4:1 rotors, ported stock turbo, full exhaust, TID/intake, emissions removal, FD-alternator, FD fuel-pump etc. Nothing terribly insane... Just a fast street-car. I'm saving all by "big turbo" mods for the next one, which will be finished in about two months.

For *that* one, I've got a Garrett TO4s, Haltech E6K, full S/S fuel-system and every other "goodie" imaginable. I'm scheduled for a Steve Kan tune at the very end of May--so I've got a deadline for completion. Shooting for 400whp at 1-bar.

I painted the FTP's and VHT'd all the lenses. Always turns out sexy--especially on a white car when you get that contrast.

As far as pics, I actually won't be able to get any more until probably Tuesday. I don't own a digi-cam--so I just borrow my buddy's camera when it's available. I'm hoping to be able to use it for a half-day shoot next week though.

Love it, you definitely know how to make FCs look clean. The blacked out FTPs and turn signals look good.
