first off these are the best lowering springs the ride is low but every bump does not drive you crazy. i am very happy with them i am glad i got these over the tein s techs.

Well the springs have saged a little almost a 2'' drop front and rear just for refference here is the before shot:

And here are the after i think i need to readjust the rear camber?

wow nice, im assuming thats a 1.5 drop? i was thinking about getting these for my gr2s'. and now that ive seen how much drop that is i might just get em, lol.

how the ride quality once they were seated and broken in? that rear camber looks pretty stock to me. i could be wrong, and cant really adjust them without the camber kit.

yeah man you should order some asap don't waste your money on the tein springs UNLESS you have a body kit so you dont scrape every thing on the road.
also i have the kyb GR2's and thiscombo is great i just wish i could of gotten the kyb AGX's tho

and i was saying if i need to get a camber arm to readjust the rear camber it is stock now but a little less negitive coul fill the gap

thanks

Looks good, I like how much it drops the rear.
I currently have RSR Race Springs on GR2s and while I Love the spring rates the rear is a little high. But o well.

they have the same design as the stock springs and here are the spring rates vs the s techs

Tein S tech ------------ Tanabe GF210
----------------------------------------------
Spring rate: F 2.1/R 2.4 kgf/mm F 3.0/ R 2.5 kgf/mm

Drop: F 1''/ R1'' F 1.5''/ R 1.5''

i love my tanabe's. pair those with some tokico illuminas, it makes for a great ride! and yes, you need to correct camber afterwards

so the springs in the front are fat springs that'll rub on 17x9's? :[ damn, was hoping they'd hug the struts like the rear springs do. oh well, but hey, at least they're stiffer than the s. techs lol

Do you need caber plates to run these springs w/out tire rub? Thinking about getting them, but don't have the cash right now for plates..

well in really depends on you wheel offset for the front as long as you have a +25 or higher you will be good

speaking of camber plates has any one put camber plates on a spring and shock combo if so any pics.
thanks

One question that I can't find the answer is what exactly are the stock spring rates. I'm looking at Stance suspension and Tanabe springs and the difference is huge. And I know coilovers versus just a spring is no comparison but i'm looking at moving my new project onto the road as soon as possible and would like to do it right the first time. So my question for an acurate comparison is stock spring rates vs. tanabe's 3.0/2.5 kg/mm.

Racing beat says that their springs are 25% stiffer than stock at 156/128lb/in so that would mean the stocks are something like 125/102lb/in

i have Tanabe springs with Gabriel shocks in the back, and cusco coilover with camber plates up front. its a pretty nice combination to me... its a daily driver though, so im not to worried about tack perfomace handling...

the reason i did it though is cause my rims up front are 9.5" wide and the tires would rub regular springs. with coilovers, the spring hugs the "shock" just like it does in the rear suspension. so if your one of the many people whos tires rub the springs, coilover up front are a good way to go...
