it looks like it hangs low but the piping actually sits about a 1/2in higher up than my old hks

 

well mine is still gonna be dual just no mufflers. So far all ive done to my exhaust is gut the cat. Not expecting too much gain just a little bit of noise to be rid of the souped up weed wacker comments

 

Handmade headers and exhausts migged up....hells yeah.

Best i got is one hacked off muffler. Still have all 3 cats and 1 remaining muffler.

Rotaries sound like bikes when you do some exhaust work to them. I want to make my own header now!

I spent about 2 months going around talking to different local rotary mechanics including Curian, Ortiz, and Felix about a exhaust setup. All of them told me that it would be fine to replace any 2 of the 3 components of the exhaust (header, cat & precat, and catback), but not to change all 3.

That thing has got to be crazy loud. I can't even imagine the fireballs. Take it up to 7-8 and just bounce it for about 20-30 seconds, take a video of that.

The video of it at idle sounded pretty good...

 

Right, a FC isn't gonna bring you the points "bra". Get an FD at the least.

well just got my straight pipes done on Friday. It sounds like pure sex with the tips i put on it. It has a nice deep tone to it and a rumble to it during deceleration.

Its still pretty loud but the cops haven't bothered me yet but i do thow it in neutral when i see them or stay off the gas if possible.

I do know from picking up my girlfriend, that lives out on a nice twisty mountain road, when i downshift to take a corner and floor it in second you can hear it coming almost a mile away.


Everyone has also commented on the sound and the nice tips it has on it. Ill tryand get pics up tonite or tomorrow

^^ that is my exact setup.
N1 Catback, that one apexi presilencer, and 3.5" all the way thru. The presilencer have been chopped and modified to have a 3.5" inlet

that **** is loud.

Semi trucks and harleys are way louder than an uncorked n/a.

If cops want to give us **** about it, there's a prime exampe that the law needs to be fair to everyone.


How is our car any worse than those ******* trucks with the most ANNOYING blow off valves i've ever heard in my life or a harley with bitchin' pipes?

Hondas are far more annoying than rotaries too. Atleast a rotary sounds normal.

Honda's with cans and pipes just sound like ****. You want to pass them just so you dont have to hear it anymore......
