CA Stalker RX7's..........

On Friday a buddy and I were driving my 88 vert with the top down in Diamond Bar,CA. When I noticed a GXL was eyeballing my car driving in the opposite direction of me. He was doing a neckbreaker looking at my car for whatever reason. So my house is in the hills, and I was helping my buddy put new rotors on his VW R32 and he passes by my house. I never see this RX7 pass by let alone pass by my house. Is this stalker or what?! What do you guys think?

not really for the technical section. I would think he just thought you had a nice 7.

Wrong section.

I've met tons of other owners just by flagging them down and pulling over together. I think you are overreacting a bit.

That's pretty cool. I had a Civic stalk me once about a week after I bought the car. It's always nice when people compliment your ride.

I have the local kids buzz the house just about everyday, especially in the summer when the door is open. Take it as a compliment, I do.

yea im guilty of this also.. you dont even kno...like i slowed down traffic just so i could see this car....it was being driven by this GILF..

ive gotten stalked to there is only 4 rx7s in my area 3 fcs and 1 fd and i think mine is the one that is most seen. since 1 of the fcs is getting a swapp i never saw that gilf with the fc ever again and im the 3rd fc.. then the fd is in storage 90 percent of the time.

He just wanted to look at the car, haha. It's tough to find one in Ohio that isn't rusty. He knew his DX was slow.

I dont even give hondas any attention. It's like this......It disrespectful to stare at a handicapped person, so why would u give Hondas any attention?

Anyone else have the first thought of "Better lock your car up tonight" after reading this?

I wouldn't pay much attention to it maybe he was just trying to admire the car & when he drove by the your house he just didn't feel comfortable stopping in without knowing you. People drive by my house in thier 7's all the time, I honestly would rather them just stop in.

Seeing as how he found where you lived I'd be a bit concerned. I have pulled over into parking lots to talk to people before, but never driven by someone house, or had the same done to me, that I know of.

Alarms don't stop people from stealing cars, if they are experienced & they want the car they will get it. If you have a garage put the car in there if not park another car in front of the 7. I don't worry bout people trying to get my ****, I keep one of my 7's in the garage & the rest in the back yard just beyond the fence. If someone really wants to try that's cool tho motion lights & my 112 lb AmStaff will greet them.

^ I have always approached people this way because I guess I look a bit crazy drooling over another rx7 that I see.So I flag them down and they pull over but the they look like they want to shoot me when they see a 6'3 250 black guy step out of a Fc.

Sounds to me like the dude was just checking out your car. You should be flattered. I say you get to know him.
