soot in turbine

The internals of the exhaust side of my turbo is covered in about a mm of dark soot. This resulted from a bad oil leak from one of the turbo's oil lines and oil was seeping into the exhaust manifold and getting blown onto everything.
Would it be safe to use a high-pressure water hose and shoot it into the exhaust entry of the turbo to try and clean it all off, or would this result in corrosion? Perhaps if I put the turbo back onto the car as soon as I clean it off, the water will evaporate before any corrosion can occur. Or is there a better way to go about doing this?

how high is high pressure?

In any case I simply recommend googling "how to clean a turbo", as I'm sure there are writeups for that.
