I have a EPA Certified green sticker on my back glass for lulz, and "JET BLAST DANGER" placard on the driver side near the exhaust for lulz, club stickers with rotors, MAZDATRIX, and Corksport stickers on the rear glass. If you do it right it will look good, if you just pile on the crap well... yeah (im currently done... i may take some off later)
This one if my most favorite, functional...

I made a decal that said "I'm too fast and furious for you!" and put it on my friend's SRT 4 along with other stuff:

"Honk if you think I'm cute" on said SRT 4

"Dave sucks" on my friend David's crossfire.

"I like dick" on my female friend's car.

Plenty more... the joys of working at a sticker shop

As far as the decals,
if the poster wants to be noticed with decals he could always stick it to his forehead, that would get the same amount of attention...
